CALL FOR ART- Behind Closed Doors: Inside the Studios of New Mexicos Artists

Last Damas is proud to announce our first open call for art, inviting all working female artists of New Mexico to submit their work for our upcoming summer exhibition. As an organization dedicated to supporting and exhibiting the extraordinary talent of female artists across the state, we typically curate our shows by invitation. However, this summer, we are excited to open our doors to a wider community of artists who share our vision of connection, support, and artistic exchange.
We welcome works of all sizes and media, encouraging a diverse range of artistic expression. This exhibition is not only about sharing what we create but also about making our work accessible to fellow artists,With that in mind, all artwork must be priced under $500, allowing for meaningful exchanges within our creative community. We encourage artists to submit works of various sizes—not just smalls—so that every piece has the opportunity to find its place in a new home.
Our hosting gallery, Muses Santa Fe will donate 15% of their 30% commission back to Las Damas to promote our future exhibitions and programming! This is an opportunity to let your work leave the studio, connect with other female artists, and be collected by those who truly appreciate and support your vision.
